Form Properties

Configure the overall settings and appearance of your forms.

Overview

Form properties define the metadata and user-facing elements of your form—the title users see, instructions they read, and buttons they click. These settings apply to the entire form, not individual fields.

Best Practices

  • 1

    Use action-oriented button text

"Get Quote" is better than "Submit" for a pricing form.

  • 2

    Set expectations in the description

Tell users how long the form takes and what happens after submission.

  • 3

    Keep titles concise

Short, clear titles work better than long explanations.

  • 4

    Use friendly cancel text

"Maybe Later" feels less dismissive than "Cancel".
